Faculty/Staff
As faculty and staff at UW–Madison, you interact with students on a daily basis. You have the opportunity to see students at their best, but also — sometimes — at a low point. Many students will turn to you, as trusted mentors, with their issues and questions. Your role as a faculty or staff member is important in maintaining a safe environment for our students. If you are concerned about a student, it is your responsibility to respond appropriately. Concerns may range from academic integrity or disruptive student behavior to troubled students or lack of attendance. No matter how small your concern may seem, thank you for taking the time to contact a Dean on Call so that he or she can follow-up appropriately.
